Not a util or app but a couple of interesting hacks for Firefox.
Plus links to some extensions (you may already know them all).
If you can get the Download Sort extension to work, please tell me what I'm doing wrong. I'd like to get it running.

Depends on how far you've got with it.. have you gone to:
Tools -> Extensions -> DownloadSort
And then clicked on 'Options'?
Took me a while to see that myself :)
Not a lot of people happy with it according to the comments on the addons.mozilla.org site :(

Infact, using the newly found 'Options' button under extensions, I have discovered some extra features for 'MouseGestures' (Daniel, if you don't have this - you NEED it).
You can use the mouse-wheel as well.. ie holding down the right-button and scrolling the wheel, moves you through the tabs.

I've been through Options but when downloading it just doesn't do the routing.
Is it working for you then?

Just tried it and it worked a treat.. give me a call if you like, or MSN me when you're in front of it (assuming I'm on at the time!)..
